TerraTime Albany
TerraTime Albany sits 12 miles northeast of Muncie, Indiana, in beautiful Delaware County. Our nature school is nestled in 9.5 acres of woodland and fields. Your child will have the opportunity to meet our farm animals, explore wild spaces, and learn under the shade of mature trees. It's an enchanting place where children engage their senses, experience the wonder of discovery, and develop important skills while connecting with nature.
Our Programs
There are several important distinctions between TerraTime’s programs and a typical preschool or public school. Please read our programs page and the parent handbook before registering your child.

Enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date completed registration forms are received.

When you submit your child's registration, you are reserving a space in the program. Because we immediately hold that space for your child and are unable to offer it to another family, registration represents a commitment to pay the full tuition associated with your enrollment. Tuition obligations remain subject to TerraTime's Refund Policy as outlined in the Parent Handbook.

If we still have room and your child starts after the term begins, tuition will be prorated.

Forest Fun Days
Forest Fun Days are drop-off programs designed for children ages 4-11 years old to experience three hours of outdoor fun.​ These special days are filled with engaging play prompts that encourage creativity, movement, and child-driven learning.

Choose from 1, 2, or 3 days each week.
Tuition is reflective of a 4-month/12-week program. The first term is from August to November, and the second term is from February to May. If you want your child to attend the full school year, you will need to enroll in both terms.
FFD TUITION
1 day/week $432 per term
2 days/week $842 per term
3 days/week $1252 per term
There is a $50 non-refundable adminstrtion/registration fee.

A one-month tuition deposit is required and will be applied to the last month. The deposit is due by May 20 or at the time of registration if you enroll after May 20. Because we reserve a space specifically for your child, the deposit is non-refundable except as outlined in TerraTime's Refund Policy.
​
If you would like to pay for the full term in one payment, the remaining balance for the first term will be due July 20, 2026, and the second term will be due January 20, 2027.
If you are making monthly payments, there is an 8% processing fee, and monthly payments will be due on the 20th of each month from July to September 2026 and January to April 2027.

Wilderness Instruction & Leadership Development
This immersive experience offers children the opportunity to learn essential wilderness skills, boost their confidence, and develop leadership qualities through engaging, hands-on activities in nature.

- Practical skills like knot-tying and first aid
- Navigation expertise using maps and compasses
- Critical survival skills such as fire building and shelter creation

W.I.L.D. encourages children to step away from distractions and engage in meaningful learning that transcends traditional classrooms and screens.​
Aligned with TerraTime’s core learning philosophies, this program emphasizes child-led exploration, empowering children to develop skills at their own pace and according to their personal interests.
