Our Summer Programs are designed for PK/Elementary School children ages 4-11 years old and pre-teen/Middle School children ages 10-16.
These drop-off programs run for one week, Monday-Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Our programs take place on private property in an enriching play environment. Children engage their senses and experience the wonder of discovery while developing important skills.
While the specific outcomes may differ to some degree, there are several elements that are key to all TerraTime outdoor experiences. These include spontaneous play, cooperative effort, self-awareness, social skills, motor planning, problem-solving, sensory integration, creativity, curiosity, self-reliance, belonging, empathy, and increased knowledge and appreciation of the natural environment.
Each day has a theme that is woven through each play prompt, loose parts, and materials. Children use natural and man-made materials to create, explore, and problem solve.
All of our programs are STEM inspired and filled with engaging play prompts that encourage creativity, movement, and child-driven learning.
Children will experience different learning opportunities each week. They can attend 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks and make new discoveries each time!
